Five Forgotten Places Classic+ Could Turn Into Real Adventures
One of the most fascinating things about original World of Warcraft is how much of Azeroth feels larger than the content players can actually experience.
There are gates that lead nowhere, locations that seem designed for stories that never arrived and entire corners of the world that have fuelled speculation for years.
That’s exactly why Classic+ could be so exciting.
Rather than creating another continent separated from the old world, Blizzard could use Classic+ to finish some of Azeroth’s unfinished business.
The gates and mysteries of existing zones could lead to new quest chains rather than another temporary progression system.
Forgotten underground spaces could become levelling dungeons, giving players another reason to create alts and experience the world differently.
Unused settlements and ruins could develop into quest hubs that connect existing stories.
And perhaps most importantly, Blizzard could add content at different levels instead of concentrating everything at level 60.
Classic’s world works because the journey matters. A level-35 quest chain can be just as memorable as a raid when players discover it naturally while travelling through Azeroth.
Classic+ therefore doesn’t need a new continent to feel substantial.
There are already decades of mysteries hiding inside the world we have.
